Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SolDial website and app, operated by Soldial, LLC. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Use of service
SolDial provides energy monitoring, automation, and optimization for Tesla Powerwall, solar, and vehicle owners. To use the full service you need a valid Tesla account and a compatible energy system and/or vehicle. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.
Tesla account authorization
By connecting your Tesla account, you authorize SolDial to access your energy and vehicle data through Tesla's official Fleet API, and — only within the permissions you grant — to send commands on your behalf (such as setting backup reserve or scheduling charging). You may revoke this authorization at any time. SolDial is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.
Your permissions and settings
You are responsible for the permissions you grant in the app — including whether SolDial may build strategies around, or change, your grid-export and grid-charging settings. SolDial will only take those actions when you have indicated you are permitted to. You are responsible for ensuring such actions comply with your utility and interconnection agreements.
Subscription and billing
Some features require a paid subscription (SolDial Pro). On iOS, subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple App Store account, and are subject to Apple's terms; manage or cancel anytime from your App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No warranties
SolDial is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that energy forecasts, automations, optimization recommendations, or savings estimates will be accurate or achievable. All such information is provided for your convenience — always use your own judgment when making decisions about your energy system.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soldial, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to the service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of SolDial at any time, and will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; we will notify you of material changes by email.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
