Exporting to the grid and charging your Powerwall from the grid can have real utility and compliance implications — so SolDial puts you in control.

You attest, the app respects it

In System Info you answer two questions: do you have permission to export to the grid, and are you allowed to charge your Powerwall from the grid? These are your settings.

What that controls

• If you say yes — SolDial may build strategies that rely on that capability and, when beneficial, adjust the matching setting on your Tesla account on your behalf.
• If you say no — SolDial will never build a strategy that depends on it, and is blocked from changing that setting at all.

Permission vs. setting

Your SolDial answer is your permission and only you change it. The actual Tesla toggle is an operational setting the app may manage within that permission — for example switching your account to solar-only export as a strategy — without ever changing your stated permission.
