Quick start

SolDial turns your Tesla energy system into one live, intelligent dashboard — solar, Powerwall(s), the grid, and your cars in a single view, with an AI that can optimize the whole thing for you.

1. Sign in with Tesla

Tap Sign in with Tesla. You authenticate on Tesla's own page through their official OAuth flow and choose which permissions to grant — SolDial never sees or stores your Tesla password. See Connecting your Tesla account.

2. Tell us about your system

Enter your zip code and answer a few quick questions in System Info — how much solar you have, how many Powerwalls, your utility rate plan, and whether you're allowed to export to the grid or charge from it. SolDial uses these to tailor everything it does.

3. (Optional) Pair your Powerwall

Flip a switch on your Gateway to pair locally over your home network. This unlocks per-pack vitals, per-string solar detail, and sub-minute updates that keep working even when your internet is down. See Pairing your Powerwall.

4. Let Autopilot set you up

Turn on Energy Autopilot and it builds a complete, tailored automation set for your rate plan, net metering, hardware, and driving — or browse Suggestions and approve them one at a time.
