Live power flow
The dashboard is a single, live view of where your energy is going right now — solar, every Powerwall, the grid, and your cars.
The dial
At a glance you see production, consumption, battery charge, and grid import/export, with animated flow lines colored by source so you can instantly tell whether your home is running on solar, battery, or the grid — or a mix.
Always current
With a paired Powerwall the dial updates sub-minute from your local Gateway; otherwise it uses Tesla's cloud. Either way it reflects real measured power, not estimates.
What the status word means
A small word on the dial shows how SolDial is getting your data right now — WiFi (reading your Gateway locally), Cloud (via Tesla’s servers), Degraded (Tesla responding slowly), or Offline (no data coming through). Tap it for a plain-language explainer; “Offline” means a data gap, not a power outage.
During an outage
If the grid actually goes down, Power Flow marks the grid with a red × at 0 kW and shows your live hours of backup remaining on the Powerwall — see Outage view & backup time.
Weather + forecast context
The dashboard also surfaces local weather and your solar forecast pace so the numbers have context — e.g. how today's production is tracking against what's expected.
