If your inverter reports it, SolDial shows your solar down to the individual string.

Where the inverter reports it, SolDial lists each string's voltage, current, and wattage. Idle or zero-output strings are shown, not hidden — a string sitting at 0 while its siblings produce is exactly the signal of a shaded, disconnected, or failing string.

Which systems report strings

Powerwall+ and other Powerwall 2 systems with an integrated solar inverter publish per-string values on your home network, and SolDial reads them directly once you've paired local access.

Powerwall 3 string detail isn't in SolDial yet. Everything else on a Powerwall 3 works normally — solar totals, history, forecasts, savings and automations all come from Tesla and don't depend on this. It's on the list; when it ships it'll be in What's New.

Derived "other" production

If you also have a standalone or non-reporting inverter, SolDial derives its output as the gap between your total measured solar and what the smart inverters report — so you still see "something else is producing X."
